3. International Talent

My personal wrestling collection contains wrestling from all across the globe. In addition to American indies, I have dvds from Mexico, Britain, and Japan. I always love to admire and compare and contrast the different ways in which different countries approach the art of professional wrestling. The product in Mexico is vastly different from the product in Britain, and the product is Japan is for the most part still very different from the product here in the states. The beauty of this wonderful art we enjoy is that as time moves on, the different styles of wrestling slowly infiltrate into the American product as young wrestlers serve tours in Japan, Mexico, and Britain. In NXT, we are currently privy to a wealth of international talent. In addition to Regal and Paige, there are also fellow Brits Oliver Grey and Adrian Neville, who some might recognize as Pac, "The Man that Gravity Forgot." They are the current NXT Tag Team Champions and they are quite fun to watch in the ring. Their feud with the Wyatt family was shaping up to be quite something, but Grey
injured his knee in February. It will be interesting to see how they handle the injury going forward, and hopefully Grey will be back from his injury sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, Neville is here in NXT to dazzle with his aerial assault. In addition to the Brits, there is also Sakamoto, who was trained by former Kaientai member Taka Michonoku, and a pair of South Africans in Justin Gabriel and Leo Kruger. Kruger has become one of my new delights in wrestling. He has formed a semi-regular tag team with Kassius Ohno and is currently feuding with Justin Gabriel. Kruger plays his character of big game hunter well, and while the gimmick might seem more at home in mid 90's WWF, it never distracts me from the joy I get in watching Kruger perform his craft. The nations have gathered in NXT, and we the wrestling viewer are the beneficiaries. However, it is a 3rd generation superstar who has most captured my attention in the NXT ring, and he comes to our list at number 2...
