Despite bringing in a plethora of established Japanese talent, WWE doesn't appear to be resting on its laurels. Asuka is now the face of the NXT Women's Division, Shinsuke Nakamura wasted little time making a name for himself, and Hideo Itami is slated for a return in coming months. Now it appears that Kota Ibushi will become WWE's latest Japanese signing. Seen standing aside the legendary Shoichi Funaki, Ibushi was pictured on screen following the show's opening tag team contest. Although the Hard Hit Prince wasn't immediately recognised by the live crowd, Ibushi is a big deal in the world of professional wrestling. WWE later teased the signing by posting a follow-up on WWE.com and social media, observing that Ibushi could be scouting his future competition.
Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
