As much as most fans hate it, WWE's 'no blood' policy is in place for good reason. The policy allows for WWE's medical team to temporarily halt a match upon the sight of blood until the flow has stopped and most traces have been cleared. As much as the litres of blood lost between the ropes in years gone by may say otherwise, a serious cut is nothing to thumb your nose at. WWE has loosened its tight leash, but the cut above Samoa Joe's eye as a result of an unfortunate head clash with Finn Balor clearly required medical attention. As instructed, medical officials made repeated efforts to separate the two combatants in order to stop the bleeding. To the delight of the crowd, Samoa Joe forcefully shoved them away time and time again. Although Joe eventually succumb to treatment, the repeated confrontations made for some unique viewing, even resulting in an extremely vocal "F**k PG" chant from the lively crowd.
Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
