WWE NXT TakeOver: The End: 10 Awesome Moments

2. Muscle Buster From The Second Rope

Much like others in NXT, Finn Balor is a shoe-in to jump up to the main roster and make a splash on shows like Raw and SmackDown. He's tailor-made to be on a show like SmackDown, especially if WWE want to completely differentiate it from the flagship program airing each Monday.

Therefore, keeping the NXT Title on Samoa Joe was the best course of action at TakeOver: The End. A Steel Cage Match between the warring pair didn't feature anyone leaping from the top of the mesh onto a prone opponent, but there were a few key bumps that felt wholly satisfying.

Hitting his trademark double foot stomp, the Coup de Grâce, Finn couldn't put Joe away. That led to him attempting to scale the cage. Catching his rival, Joe then slammed the Irishman's head into the metal and lined him up for a Muscle Buster. Unlike ordinary variations of the move, Joe was standing on the second rope when he clasped Balor in the hold and fell to the mat.

That was the move that finished the bout, and it looked spectacular.
