5. Possible Surprise: Finn Bálor May Pass Up Escaping To Take Flight
More specifically, Finn Bálor could very well attempt a Coup De Grace so devastating it would shatter Samoa Joe's chest structure, causing his lungs and heart to fail and leaving everybody in the arena a quivering mess. "Bah gawd" indeed.
This is a very specific prediction, but by Jesus I'm feeling sassily confident. You could argue that this match has enough interest that it doesn't need a cage dive - especially so soon after Dean Ambrose's leap - but screw it, it's going to happen anyway.
If there's anything we've learned from WWE's developmental brand so far it's that NXT doesn't do things by halves. Especially considering the TakeOver special is primarily focused on their feud's payoff, Bálor and Joe are sure to go all out. What better way to close the curtain by Bálor scaling the cage wall, summing up the vacant path between him and glory, passing up a guaranteed victory and attempting to drive the final dagger into his adversary?
Note the word 'attempting' - this endeavour will not be fruitful for Finn Bálor, as even the slightest connection with Joe's chest at that height could cause serious, life-threatening damage. However, Bálor's decision to pass up certain victory and ultimately fall short will be a dramatic-yet-fitting way to end seven months of back-and-forth battling.
