WWE Paul Heyman DVD Review: 13 Things You Should Know

2. The Extras

The documentary rounds off with Heyman's triumphant return to WWE as an on air character. He admits that he never envisioned going back, but is completely in love with his current role. He is seen helping the likes of Paige and Renee Young backstage. By all accounts he's a popular guy and many people come to him for advice. The conclusion is that Heyman is moved on from the 'business' aspect of pro wrestling. "Becoming a father changed him. He's more laidback" reveals Joey Styles. That may be the end of the documentary proper, but there's an absolute ton of additional extras. There are promos aplenty from the various eras Heyman worked in. His shoot promo from 'ECW on TNN June 2000: The War Has Just Begun' is particularly brilliant. Beyond this there's a whole load of extra documentary segments: Heyman visits the old ECW arena for example. The extras end up being like a whole other documentary in themselves. It really is quite an impressive haul of content, hours and hours worth of Heyman in his element.

Grahame Herbert hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
