There was mass concern for the well-being of Enzo Amore at Payback. Almost as soon as he was knocked out, Twitter lit up with messages wishing the outspoken grappler well.

He was taken out on a stretcher by medical staff in attendance at the event before being transferred to a nearby hospital.

When it became clear that Enzo was hurt, WWE had a decision to make. The referee elected to stop the match outright, but that wasn't the only option open to him.

Officials could have had Amore taken away for medical treatment, yet continued the match as a handicap affair pitting Big Cass against The Vaudevillains.

Such a situation would not have played before booming crowd noise, people were a little deflated by what happened moments before. It was the right decision to simply cease the action and tend to the fallen wrestler.

At times like that, wrestling fans appreciate that the WWE fantasy has to stop for a second. Enzo's health was much more important than any wrestling match, tournament final or otherwise.
