Randy Orton was recently revealed to have worked the most WWE pay-per-view matches in company history, but who else joins the 'Viper' on that prestigious list?

The Wrestling Observer compiled a quick 'Top 10' that shows who's been busiest over the years. Here's the list in order (with the number of matches in brackets):

Randy Orton (177), Kane (176), The Undertaker (174), Triple H (173), John Cena (163), Chris Jericho (144), Big Show (142), Edge (135), The Miz (121), Kofi Kingston/Shawn Michaels (117).

Some of those names listed may never improve their positions on the list. Kane and The Undertaker, for example, look finished as pay-per-view attractions. The same could be said for Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Meanwhile, both Chris Jericho and Big Show currently work outside the promotion in AEW.

John Cena could work a few more bouts in coming years, and the likes of Orton, Edge, Miz and Kofi Kingston remain active. Three of those are on full-time schedules when fit.

Interestingly enough, if one scans wrestling pay-per-views generally, then AJ Styles tops the list. He's worked a whopping 289 PPV bouts during his career.
