WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (August 29)

9. Announcers Weren't Watching The Intergender Match

It's understandable that WWE would want to create clear differences between Raw and SmackDown Live. Many of these changes are superficial, such as the differing camera angles, announce styles and colour schemes. On this week's Raw, the company chose to do something a little confusing, and it did nothing for the actual match going on in the ring.

Teaming with The New Day, Bayley faced the trio of Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and Dana Brooke. In no uncertain terms, Brooke is being used to introduce Bayley to the main roster, and that - along with a feud that has been rolling between the male teams also involved - was the main story.

Coming back from a commercial break, Michael Cole welcomed fans to the show and talked about Charlotte providing guest commentary. In an odd moment, all three of the regular announcers (and Charlotte herself) were shown facing away from the ring.

Perhaps this is nit-picking, but wouldn't it have been better to have the commentary team glued to their screens and watching the action in the ring?
