7. Chris Jericho Using The Liontamer

Somewhere along the way, Chris Jericho stopped using the Liontamer finishing hold he had perfected across the globe prior to reaching WWE. In one of his books, Y2J revealed the main reason why. Due to the huge size of some peers in the company, it was impractical to bend them up the way he had done when working Cruiserweight matches in WCW and beyond.

On occasion, Jericho re-airs a more traditional variation of the move, one that looks much more painful than his standard Walls Of Jericho (which is basically a Boston Crab). Working the smaller Neville on Raw, the Canadian was able to make use of his opponent's infinite flexibility.

Fans cheered wildly for Jericho's win, even though he's a heel. Some of this positivity must have been down to how excellent the submission hold looked, Neville looked in searing agony as he was contorted into an unnatural position.

Those who haven't followed the career of Chris Jericho since the early years might not know what all the fuss is about. Simply put, he used a hold he put on the shelf quite some time ago.
