6. Deliberate Seating Arrangements During Opening Segment

Standing in the ring, Corey Graves welcomed everybody to Monday Night Raw and set about his task of building excitement towards the show's main event. Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Big Cass and Seth Rollins were sat in the middle of the ring, in that exact order. Surely, there was a reason for this.

On one side, Reigns and Owens sat to the left of the WWE Universal Title. On the other, Cass and Rollins were seated to the right. A quick glance at this arrangement may not reveal anything, but there was a definite structure to the way these men were laid out.

On opposite sides, Reigns and Rollins were kept as far away from one another as possible. As veterans of the World Title scene, they almost acted as bookends to the other men sharing the spotlight. Comparative rookies to the top line scene, Owens and Cass were closest to the title.

This subtly signified change, like WWE were prepared to offer up the championship to someone new. Far-fetched, maybe, but interesting nonetheless.
