Live on the November 15 episode of SmackDown last year, The Undertaker made his first appearance since WrestleMania 32. Joining Team SmackDown Live in the ring, the legend dared his blue-brand compatriots to slay Team Raw at Survivor Series and do the show proud as a result.

That was all 'Taker really offered, his speech wasn't long or filled with hints about what would come next for him. During the promo, Undertaker said that he was loyal to SmackDown, considered it his home in WWE and would always be there. Bizarrely, he then showed up on this week's Raw without any real explanation.

By showing up on Monday Night Raw, The Undertaker went against his previous statements. Although he did tell Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley that nobody controls him, it felt a bit cheap to render the SmackDown promo ultimately meaningless.

Simultaneously, Undertaker seemed to suggest that he would be drafted to SmackDown in November. By appearing on Raw, he pretty much put that idea to rest.
