There seemed life after death in a Cruiserweight division still floating in a sea of broad disinterest thanks to the good ship Enzo.

Not only did the 'Smacktalker Skywalker' finally just get to be the sports entertainer he was destined to be this week, but the lightweights had a Monday Night Raw match for the second consecutive week, with commentators noting that a tag match pitting Gentleman Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick against Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann at Sunday's pay-per-view.

Leave it to the titleholder and perpetual bumblef*ck Kalisto to drag his own division down with promo very much like...well, his last infamous effort.

Ahead of the aforementioned of assault (that, as Enzo pointed out, he absolutely deserved), the 'King Of Flight' mumbled through some p*ss-poor lines about 7/11 and Gucci sheets before noting how he'd become the 'New Cruiserweight Champion'. As he sported said belt.

It was another mini-'mare from the once-promising prospect, but piled on the frustration for fans trying desperately to cling on to a semblance of importance in the league undergoing more tumult now than it did in its previous mid-2000s nadir.
