WWE Reading Live Review: 10 Interesting Observations You Need To Know
3. Divas Get No Time
Even on a show on which the Divas Championship was the only title at stake and the performers involved were among the biggest names on the show, the women still could not be afforded enough time to deliver a performance that elevated their match past the standard TV fare. The contest, a rematch from Elimination Chamber, was nowhere near as long as the original. With only a handful of minutes to work with, the women got their spots in before Paige was knocked out at ringside by Tamina and Nikki finished off Naomi. With star power at a low, WWE had the opportunity to present a Divas match that allowed the competitors to showcase skills fans do not see on free television. Instead, they went the same old direction. Worse yet was the fact that the contest started post-intermission, meaning most fans were not even back in their seats by the time the finish arrived. Just an awful use of the Divas, all of whom appeared to be working hard for the little bit of time allowed.
