Charlotte Flair's win in the Iron Man match saw the Nature Girl become a four-time RAW Women's Champion in the process, and was the 6th time the title has changed hands since Charlotte became the inaugural champion way back at WrestleMania 32. Usually this would represent a devaluation of the title, but in many ways this was exactly what the red women's belt required.

From the very beginning on the main roster Sasha and Charlotte have been presented as equals, and as such their rivalry needed to see back and forth wins to establish that fact. The 'Sasha Wins On RAW, Charlotte Wins On PPV' trope has become a little tired, but more-so than ever it made sense here.

Bayley is waiting in the wings to challenge Charlotte, and there are simply more options available with a heel champion as opposed to a babyface one. Where The Boss goes from here will be of great interest, but she will clearly be a major player in WWE for many years to come. Maybe a feud with an eventual returning anti-diva could be in the works?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
