Whilst people may have tired of the constant stream of Charlotte Flair/Sasha Banks interactions over the RAW Women's Championship, but it is difficult to complain about the matches themselves. The two have fantastic chemistry, and the 30-minute Iron Man match was another excellent addition to their back catalogue.

Iron Man matches are almost always awkward affairs however, as the individuals struggle to get to grips with the pacing required to sustain a story over such a time. Once the falls start business tends to pick up, and that was clearly the case here. Once the shackles were off, this was great.

Charlotte Flair picked up the 3-2 win via submission in sudden death overtime, a move that might draw some complaints but is clearly the right one for the division moving forward. Charlotte and Sasha have given us many great matches this year, but this must be the last one for a long while.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
