WWE Roadblock: End Of The Line - 11 Things WWE Got Right

1. Jeri-KO Reunited

Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens are inevitably going to split further down the line, but holding that split off for the time being is the best thing for all involved. It isn't exactly a sure thing that the best friends are back together, but it seemed as though a reconciliation had occurred at the end of Roadblock: End of the Line.

After Jericho blasted Owens with a Codebreaker and caused the disqualification, the two embraced in the centre of the ring. This wasn't before taking a long hard look at the Universal Championship belt however, possibly foreshadowing a title match between the Cantankerous Canadians further down the line.

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns got their revenge (to a degree) following the match, putting both Jericho and Owens through tables via the classic Shield powerbomb. The umbrella feud is going to continue through to the Royal Rumble it seems, and here's hoping that WWE finds a way to wring every drop out of the excellent Jeri-KO partnership.

Thus ends a long year of pay-per-views in WWE. The year has truly seen the good, the bad and the ugly, and here's hoping 2017 builds on the positives. Either that or here's to another year of Charlotte vs Sasha Banks.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
