WWE Roadblock: End Of The Line - 11 Things WWE Got Right
5. The Man That WWE Eventually Remembered
The major news to come out of Rich Swann's successful Cruiserweight Championship defence was the return of 'The Man That Gravity Forgot', former NXT Champion Neville. The Geordie strode to the ring with a smile on his face, seemingly about to congratulate Swann on a successful title defence, only to blast the champion with a forearm to the face.
After months and months of people questioning the whereabouts of Neville and his lack of involvement in the cruiserweight division, the most obvious and most effective booking decision has seemingly been made. For the first time in his WWE career Neville is a heel, and he has an entire division in which to portray a Big Bad.
The only issue here is that the crowd were seemingly cheering Neville's destruction of the division's babyfaces, a move that speaks volumes for how the cruiserweight division has been booked on RAW so far. Neville's wrestling is also so high-energy that it is difficult to boo, but there is little doubt that the man from Newcastle will soon become the major heel the division sorely needs.
