Whilst an argument can usually be made for any championship changing hands, you'd be hard pushed to find a good reason to remove Rich Swann as Cruiserweight Champion in favour of T.J. Perkins or The Brian Kendrick last night. That is meant as no disrespect to the to challengers, just that Swann is so clearly what the division needs right now that moving the title to either of the two previous champions would have been booking insanity.

The match itself was messy at times, something that comes with the territory when it comes to junior heavyweight triple threat matches. The three recovered well enough from the little errors, and whilst it didn't come close to the heights of the Cruiserweight Classic it was still a more than enjoyable title match on PPV.

Rich Swann has consistently garnered a reaction from the live crowds since the return of the division, something which unfortunately can't be said for TJP or Kendrick. The post-match developments also rammed home the importance of keeping the title on Swann.
