9. Alberto Del Rio

The current World Heavyweight Champion, like his Royal Rumble opponent, put in a great performance. Since turning face, Del Rio has not only become more entertaining, but his work in the ring has improved incredibly. Being a "good guy" has allowed him to include more high-flying moves, or as Michael Cole alluded to, a "lucha style". Del Rio took a beating at the Rumble and deserves credit for that; the aforementioned spot with Big Show was a perfect example, as he grabbed the Mexican by his hair, which would obviously be painful, and then Chokeslammed him from a fair height through a table. I hope that he is not seen as a transitional champion so that Dolph can cash in soon, as Del Rio has been more engaging in this reign then his two WWE Championship reigns combined.
