WWE Royal Rumble 2014: 10 Biggest Shocks We Might See

8. John Cena Wins The Title

john-cena-wwe-champion Despite being the most pushed WWE star arguably ever, John Cena isn't exactly a red hot favourite to win the WWE title from Randy Orton this Sunday. The current thought right now is that Orton will retain to face at Wrestlemania one of the hot babyfaces made up of Batista, Punk or Bryan. Cena meanwhile is expected to meander off to some sort of match with Hulk Hogan in his corner. What a shock it would be then if Cena was to overcome the odds yet again and beat Orton this weekend. In some ways it goes against common sense - a hot face chasing an entrenched heel is always the best critical and commercial performer at this time of year. But Cena as champ throws up some interesting dynamics. Not least if Daniel Bryan was to win the Rumble and set up a rematch of the Summerslam main event. The crowd reaction and significance of a Cena win at the Royal Rumble will a stand out moment of the night. In saying that, if this shock doesn't happen, imagine the potential for Cena entering the actual Rumble. When it comes to a shock, Cena is often never far away. Expect something major from the Cenation leader on the night.
