WWE Royal Rumble 2017: 10 Potential Surprise Entrants
3. Tye Dillinger (Probability 4/10)
There is no denying the popularity of Tye Dillinger down in NXT. Dillinger has transformed from a failed tag team partner of Jason Jordan to the Perfect 10 we see today. He has gotten over with a catchy gimmick and a string of great matches with Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe in recent weeks. Many fans weren’t aware of the career resurgence he has had after a failed stint in developmental a decade ago.
Early in December, Dillinger got into a Twitter exchange with current Intercontinental Champion The Miz, which hinted at a possible match between the two. It is not clear if that was a precursor to the debut of The Perfect 10 or just a mindless Twitter argument, but having Dillinger show up in San Antonio would definitely produce one of the loudest reactions of the night.
