WWE Royal Rumble 2017: 10 Superstars Who Have A Realistic Shot Of Winning

2. Brock Lesnar

Since returning to WWE the night after WrestleMania XXVIII, Brock Lesnar has broken The Streak, won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship (a title he was never pinned for), dominated John Cena in the most lopsided pay-per-view main event (squash) match in WWE history, and has conquered numerous other opponents. Despite entering in last year's event, Brock has yet to win the Royal Rumble match since returning to WWE.

That could change in 2017.

He has won it before, though. In 2003, a babyface Brock won the Rumble, last eliminating The Undertaker. The following year, Lesnar wasn't involved in the Rumble match but did interfere and caused Goldberg to be eliminated from the match. Here we are, some 13 years later and that feud still hasn't been settled.

At a certain point, it starts to become eye-rolling and unbelievable that Brock Lesnar, despite all of his dominance for the past three years, could enter the Royal Rumble and constantly lose. That isn't to say we're at that point yet, but WWE is getting close.

It seems pretty likely that we're headed for Goldberg/Lesnar III at WrestleMania 33, and though it's not likely to be for the title, WWE could swerve everyone and get Brock some heat back by winning the Royal Rumble.
