Daniel Bryan's return to the ring is as hot a topic as it has ever been. His continued insistence on being medically cleared, the interest in him appearing at Bullet Club's All In show, and his budding rivalry with SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon all lend credence to the rumours that the American Dragon might finally step back between the ropes of a WWE ring.

Bryan himself has said that if he doesn't compete with WWE before WrestleMania, he more than likely will never wrestle with the company again. WWE's loss would be another promotion's gain, with Ring of Honour and New Japan Pro Wrestling both being likely destinations for the Yes Man.

But surely WWE don't want to let one of their most popular superstars of all time head to another promotion. Bryan's arrival in ROH or NJPW would pull a lot of focus away from WWE, and with Chris Jericho's rivalry with Kenny Omega drawing more interest to New Japan than ever before, this could be the push that finally loosens WWE's grip on the wrestling world.

Clearing Bryan and having him enter the Royal Rumble match would be a much better decision. Of course, 2014 and 2015 have proven that if you have Daniel Bryan enter the Rumble, you damn sure better let him win it. With this year's event occurring in the very same venue as Bryan's last Rumble appearance, having him enter only to be eliminated would lead to a fan backlash more vehement than we have ever seen.

Let Bryan win the match and face AJ Styles at WrestleMania. There is no better possibility.
