And what of that history-making first ever women's Royal Rumble match? We know there will be 30 entrants and it'll be gifted a lot of time, but will it be the success WWE are already hyping it to be? Money in the Bank wasn't, and there have been holes popping up in the female revolution since the division arguably peaked at Hell in a Cell 2016.

We've witnessed a lot of firsts with women in WWE over the past few years. Cell matches, Iron Woman epics, Money in the Bank and now the Rumble. Despite there being no doubt females deserve to be pushed with the same respect as their male counterparts, the Rumble will only be remembered fondly if it delivers in the ring.

If it doesn't, then WWE's top brass may get cold feet and abandon the idea completely. This means we wouldn't see another women's Rumble in 2019, and the concept would be written of as an experiment that failed to connect.

Fingers crossed it succeeds.
