1. Ember Moon Wins The Women's Royal Rumble
With so much going on in the Women's division right now, any result in the rumble that doesn't edge us nearer to Ronda/Charlotte/Becky at WrestleMania would be, frankly, astounding. It's the biggest rivalry and the biggest story in the company right now, and with so many hoops to jump through to bring the three of them together come April, giving an outside bet the Rumble win would be a baffling decision. Not an unwelcome one, but still.
The only name being touted with any credibility is that of Ember Moon. Have debuted in last year's match and been relatively protected with her booking all year, she's one of the women WWE will be hoping step up in, as reports suggest, Ronda's gone after Mania. Regardless, a Rumble win and, thus, one of the title matches at Mania jut feels like a bit of a stretch for her at the moment.
The case for her is simple, she's really, really good. Her time on NXT - and as NXT Women's Champion - felt a little cut short, and it's presumed that was because WWE had big plans for her on the main roster. If they're ever going to prove that this is as good a place to start as any, but don't bank on it.
