WWE Royal Rumble 2020: 10 Former Stars Who Should Return Tonight!

9. Eva Marie

This won't be a popular pick, but it would undeniably lead to deafening heel heat, similar to when Vickie Guerrero returned in the inaugural women's Royal Rumble match two years ago.

Eva Marie was last seen on WWE TV in August 2016 and was in the midst of a storyline where she found ways to delay her in-ring return each week. It actually caught on quite well, but she was suspended for violating the WWE Wellness Policy and subsequently left the promotion before the angle could continue.

While the former 'Total Divas' star will never be mistaken for being a tremendous technical wrestler, she did have a presence that helped her stand out as a star. She could have very well been successful had she not quit to pursue other endeavors.

Eva has since teased returning to WWE, and even if WWE isn't interested in bringing her back full-time (nor should they considering all the women under contract they already aren't doing anything with), a one-time return in the Rumble would make for a fun moment.

It would be worth it for the reaction she'd receive from the rowdy crowd in Houston. In fact, she could be eliminated as soon as she enters, ensuring fans wouldn't be subjected to seeing her wrestle. It'd be a harmless conclusion to a story that started years ago but was never given a proper payoff.
