A third of the participants in the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match two years ago were WWE Hall of Famers and women's champions of the past, all of whom helped pave the path to where the women are today.

Victoria's absence from the bout did not go unnoticed by fans.

After almost a decade-long stint with WWE that included two Women's Championship reigns, Victoria left the company on amicable terms in early 2009. She signed with TNA soon after and was a cornerstone of their Knockouts division for the next four years, proving that WWE didn't do nearly enough with her.

Victoria received her release from TNA in July 2013 and was open to returning to WWE but never got the phone call. Aside from appearing in the crowd at Hall of Fame ceremonies, she has yet to formally return to WWE TV and has revealed in various interviews that she is no longer allowed backstage at the shows.

WWE ignoring her existence has yet to be explained, but it's high time they moved on from whatever their issue with her is and invited her back home. Although she formally retired from active competition last September, it'd be nice to see her career come full circle with one last match under the WWE banner at the Rumble.
