WWE Royal Rumble 2020: 10 Surprise Entrants We Could See

2. Ronda Rousey

Raw Ronda Rousey
WWE

Ronda Rousey left on her so-called "impregnation vacation" shortly after WrestleMania 35, having dropped the Raw Women's Championship to Becky Lynch. She hasn't been seen since, but while 'Rowdy' has never been shy of expressing her desire to start a family with partner Travis Browne, she keeps talking about returning to the squared circle, and, by all accounts, isn't expecting a child at the moment. Thus, she's one of the more realistic surprises on our list.

The thing about pulling a Rousey return on 26 January is that it wouldn't feel like anywhere near as big a deal as it should if he doesn't win. She's the biggest mainstream crossover star in the promotion, after all, and the most obvious name to throw in a big-money WrestleMania match. Unfortunately for Rousey, though, her pal Shayna Baszler is the current bookies' favourite to take it all and face Becky Lynch, which would appear to worsen the odds of Ronda showing up for the Rumble.

Regardless, a Rousey comeback would give WWE's product loads of extra sizzle heading into the most exciting programming period of the year.
