WWE Royal Rumble 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen
2. Brock Lesnar's Next Challenger Eliminates Him
It doesn't matter if it's Matt Riddle, Drew McIntyre or Cain Velasquez – Brock Lesnar's WWE Title challenger at WrestleMania must be the one to throw him over the top rope. That's the only way to establish his 'Mania program without having Lesnar win the match, decree everyone f*cking useless and go hunting on 5 April instead.
Those vignettes would be something special, granted.
It'll be a waste if Brock wins this Rumble as WWE Champion, if only because the entire bout's purpose is designed to build up a challenger worthy of threatening the biggest champs. Someone would gain a lot of credibility by ousting Lesnar from a match he's so sure of winning near the very end of it.
This writer firmly believes that Brock should be tossed out as the first man of a final four. That'd leave his conqueror to bask in some crowd love before they themselves get carried away and don't see Lesnar imitating Hulk Hogan in the '92 Rumble by pulling them out of the ring for a right good kicking.
