It's high time everyone let bygones be bygones.

No, the 2015 Rumble wasn't a successful night for Roman Reigns, but come on. The dude has suffered through enough boos to last a lifetime, and he's finally getting some adulation from an audience who once hated his poster boy guts. 2020 is the right time to exorcise 2015's demons.

WWE can test just how accepting the fanbase would be of another Reigns mega-push by writing the injury angle explored earlier and then having him rampage back as the Rumble's winner. Provided the match has enough satisfying fluff involving other popular names, Texas might not mind Roman getting the victory.

Things look good for Reigns here. He's finally a liked babyface, doesn't have to contend with Daniel Bryan (he's already in a World Title match on the show) and has the chance to re-establish himself as the good guy hero Vince McMahon always wanted him to be.

Don't you dare boo, Houston.
