5. No Goldberg In The Rumble

WWE may have done the right thing at the beginning of the evening by having Goldberg lose to Drew McIntyre, but that didn't stop the WWE Universe from sitting on the edges of their seats all night out of fear that big Bill would show up in the Royal Rumble match and score himself another title opportunity.

Of course, many had fun with the possibility, suggesting that Goldberg might make his presence in felt in the women's Royal Rumble match instead.

That was not the case and, when Braun Strowman's arrival at No. 30 confirmed that, the relief came in waves... or memes... or waves of memes.
