1. Seth Rollins

Following 2020's Survivor Series PPV, Seth Rollins has been on a leave of absence from WWE as he and Becky Lynch welcomed their first child into the world.

The return of Rollins was actually announced for the New Year's Day edition of SmackDown, but, as is so often the case when WWE advertises something, that return didn't take place.

Whether his return happens at the Royal Rumble, or whether he makes his presence known on SmackDown during the build to the Rumble, expect Seth Rollins to be a major part of the men's Royal Rumble match on 31 January.

Along with Daniel Bryan and Sheamus, the one-time Monday Night Messiah has to be considered a strong favourite to emerge victorious and head to WrestleMania 37 - with a Rollins vs. Reigns 'Mania match a hugely intriguing proposition should WWE opt to go in that direction.
