WWE Royal Rumble 2025: Predicting All 30 Entrants
7. Finn Bálor
Judgment Day could've imploded for good by the time final draft Rumble format sheets drop into Triple H's inbox. Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh lost their tag belts in late-December, and it looks for all the world like Finn will take a pounding from Damian Priest on Raw too. That might've happened by the time you read this.
It's almost time to say goodbye to a stable Edge started in 2022. How will anyone Cope?!
Admit it, you know where this is heading. Bálor coming out to join the brawl as #7 means he'll trade a few spots with Jimmy Uso and possibly take some of Cena's trademark moves for the hell of it. Then, he'll look on in horror as the ghosts of unions past continue to haunt him in the worst way imaginable...
8. Damian Priest
'Priest! Priest! Priest! Priest!'.
That familiar chant for legendary rockers Judas Priest needs to become something Damian entertains on WWE telly. It's a powerful refrain, and it's safe to stick one's neck out by saying Priest badly needs to regain his momentum with fans following a so-so World Heavyweight Title reign. Things haven't really been clicking for him lately; it's been tough to properly leave Judgment Day behind.
Smashing lumps out of Finn one last time in the Rumble sounds like the right way to draw a line under their feud. Priest can even eliminate Bálor quickly, if necessary, and deal with an invading JD McDonagh by tossing Finn out on top of him. That'll save Bálor's body from taking a painful bump to the ringside floor. Longevity, and all that!
