By all accounts, Karrion Kross is considered someone who has all the tools to become a WWE top liner. Something has been missing across multiple spells in the promotion though, so his alleged main event potential remains unfulfilled. Will the 2025 Rumble steer him towards that? Not quite, but a solid half hour or so wouldn't hurt.

Like, Miz, Kross has his dealings with The Wyatt Sicks. They could come back to bite Karrion during the 30-man match, or maybe they'll leave him scratching his head by exclusively going after The Miz but leaving Kross alone. That'd add a new wrinkle to the undercard story WWE has been playing around with on Monday nights.

It'd be a real win for Karrion's biggest supporters if he's written to joust with some bigger stars in between all the Uncle Howdy stuff. Give him a chance, please.

Sami Zayn could show up to talk about what colour he fancies painting his bathroom and people would pop. He has enduring popularity as an organic babyface who's also capable of being heel when it suits. That's killer range, and it's why Sami is one of WWE's most valuable assets - he proved that throughout 2024, especially at WrestleMania 40. Come the Rumble, he'll make sure the middle part of the match sets the scene for bigger moments to come.

That's one of Zayn's strengths. He understands his role when he's out there, and he'll know that there's real value in trading a few choice moments with Logan Paul, John Cena and even Damian Priest. Hell, why not see if there'd be anything to Sami vs. Karrion Kross into the bargain? Finding fresh combos has always been a Rumble benefit.
