WWE Royal Rumble: Best Performances From Every Entry Slot
22. Triple H - 2002
Two winners have entered the Royal Rumble at No. 22, separated by ten years. Triple H achieved this in 2002, with Sheamus following in 2012. The four men Helmsley eliminated just puts him ahead of Sheamus' three for the best performance.
The Game's introduction was met with a thunderous ovation, as he walked toward a confrontation with the only man in the ring - Stone Cold Steve Austin. The two men battled until the next entrant, The Hurricane, joined them.
His first elimination came in a wonderful moment, with both Triple H and Austin breaking an attempted double chokeslam from The Hurricane, before the two rivals threw the superhero over the top rope together.
Next came the elimination of Farooq, less than a minute after entering the match, and the legendary Mr. Perfect, leaving just Triple H and Kurt Angle. The two fought, with Angle believing he had dispatched of The Game, but Triple H hung on in Shawn Michaels fashion, re-entering the ring to send the Olympic hero over the rope, earning his first ever Rumble victory.
