WWE Rumour On Nikki Bella Keeping Divas Title Due To John Cena

Nikki Bella is set to defend the WWE Divas Title on Raw against Charlotte and it's possible she's going to retain the title due the influence of her boyfriend John Cena. That's what Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio, claiming that he was told that by somebody within WWE. Here's how Meltzer explained it:

"Anything can happen, but if Charlotte doesn't win then it's probably the influence of John Cena...that's what I was told." He admitted he didn't know what was going to happen, but that's a very interesting piece of information.

The decision makers in WWE have gone back and forth in terms of trying to figure out who will leave Raw with the Divas Title. If Nikki holds onto the title then she'll break AJ Lee's record of 295 days as the longest reigning Divas Champion in history.

If Charlotte wins, it's a good way to end the reign because it would shut up Nikki after hearing her go on and on about the record. Fans would really like to see a title change just because of how annoying is as a heel. It's very likely that WWE wants to do the title change, but if Cena's influence allows Nikki to keep it on Raw then Charlotte may end up winning it at Night of Champions instead of on tonight's Raw.
