This is an example of where the performers were blameless for the poor end product.

In an unfortunate regression to WWE’s WrestleMania booking of the division pre-Women’s Revolution, creative threw together a Six Pack Challenge in Orlando in which Naomi submitted Alexa Bliss for a championship coronation in front of her hometown crowd.

It was a feel-good moment for the former Funkadactyl, but the response would have been stronger had it been a one-on-one match. The injury redemption narrative was there, with Bliss as the paper champion. The other four competitors were merely window dressing and the lazy multi-person format was simply because WWE had nothing for the other women.

What really killed this match though is that it was positioned between Brock Lesnar versus. Goldberg and Undertaker versus Roman Reigns at the close of a seven-hour show. The audience was fatiguted and very few people cared for what was a five-minute filler.
