PWInsider Elite is reporting that WWE recently sent out survey forms gauging critical reactions to the revamped NXT 2.0 brand.

Amongst other things, the promotion wants to know whether or not the new show is better or worse than their original NXT product. Scan the list of questions beyond that general feedback and things get really interesting.

WWE included a list of statements and asked those filling out the form to agree or disagree. Some of the terms listed ranged from, "I enjoy the athleticism of the wrestling talent on the show" and, "This show is one of my favourites among all professional wrestling shows" to, "I enjoy the promos/smack talk on this show" and, "The show does not have enough escalation to intense/brutal action".

Note the "wrestling" thread running throughout. It's rare that official WWE documentation uses that word, or goes further to acknowledge that they promote "professional wrestling".

Everything from the show's overall aesthetic, the variety of characters presented, the standard of commentary and the core storylines went under the microscope. It'd be sweet to get a look at the stats once those forms have been completed.
