WWE SmackDown: 10 Things You May Have Missed (Nov 1)

7. Baron Corbin's Lone Wolf Vignette

Ever since the brand extension, Baron Corbin has been somewhat lost in the shuffle. A short, uninspiring feud with Jack Swagger has done almost nothing to enhance his positioning on the SmackDown roster. All of a sudden though, Corbin was announced as being part of the SmackDown team for Survivor Series by Daniel Bryan.

On a more cheerful note, WWE's production team showed their value once again by putting together an excellent video package on Baron. Running shortly before the women's tag-team match pitting Alexa Bliss and Carmella against Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella, this vignette was more effective than any number of wins over Swagger could ever hope to be.

Cast as a lone wolf, Corbin remarked that friends, family, and wrestling fans just hold him down. Therefore, he's not out to please any of them and won't lift a finger to make them happy. The whole thing was interspersed with footage of Baron arguing with fans, riding motorcycles, and snarling like a beast.

Short yet punchy, the package may have been missed by some entirely. If so, that's a shame. Hopefully, this will be aired again.
