1. Kevin Owens

Technically Kevin Owens might not be a member of the SmackDown roster yet, as he still has to successfully defend his United Stated championship against Chris Jericho at Payback. With the impending departure of Jericho to work on music and tour with his band, Fozzy, all signs point to Owens retaining his title and sticking around on the blue brand.

He was presented as the marquee addition to SmackDown, opening the show with a new, freshly shaven"corporate" look, and was immediately confronted by the likes of Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn and AJ Styles, the latter of whom had SD fans nervous that the brand's MVP would be heading to Raw.

In the main event, Styles won a number one contender's match to become the first challenger to the U.S. belt following Payback, and everybody with a pulse is already stoked to see an AJ Styles/Kevin Owens feud.

The only disappointing aspect of KO moving to Tuesdays is that it doesn't bring any closure to his angle with Triple H and closes the door on the potential stable alongside Samoa Joe.

Another thing that makes SmackDown an ideal home for Kevin is Talking Smack. KO is a performer who will excel in that environment. The unscripted nature of the show gives talents a chance to sink or swim, and when in the deep end Owens usually goes full-on Michael Phelps.

While Raw undoubtedly got the better of the roster changes overall, SmackDown definitely scored some awesome additions - Kevin Owen chief among them.
