Results from last night's WWE SmackDown tapings from Richmond, Virginia which will air on Friday night. Dark Match: Ted DiBiase def. Dean Ambrose SmackDown kicks off with Big Show coming out to the ring and cutting a promo on his title win then defeat at Sunday's TLC pay-per-view. He is quickly joined by Mark Henry and the new World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. Henry and Show make it known they both want title shots. Teddy Long comes out and makes a Mark Henry vs. Big Show match announcement for tonight with the winning becoming the new #1 contender. 1) Zack Ryder def. Cody Rhodes - aided by a distraction from Booker T. Backstage segment with Teddy Long, Santino Marella and Aksana. Big Show and Mark Henry come out for their match but David Otunga interrupts on the microphone and says the match isn't legal so calls it off. Show gives Otunga the WMD punch. Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match is announced for later tonight. The Miz backstage segment airs. He then comes out to cut a promo before his match against Sheamus. 2) Sheamus def. The Miz with the Brogue Kick. Wade Barrett comes out and cuts a promo on Randy Orton who then comes out and they fight their way to the back. Their feud must be continuing. 3) Kofi Kingston def. Primo with the Trouble in Paradise. Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler is up next but Big Show and Jack Swagger come out and Teddy Long decides to change the match to Bryan & Show vs. Ziggler & Swagger. If I were in the crowd I would have been pissed by the change and losing out on what would no doubt be a great match between Bryan and Ziggler. 4) Daniel Bryan & Big Show def. Ziggler & Swagger when Swagger taps out of the LaBell Lock.
