WWE Smackdown Spoilers: 7 Things You Need To Know (Nov 4th)

Two steel cage matches on this week's edition of Smackdown! Full analysis is here.

This week's edition of Smackdown was taped in Albany, New York on November 4th and will air on Friday November 7th. We are two months away from WWE moving Smackdown to Thursday nights, which will hopefully improve the quality of the show. Raw ended on Monday with Randy Orton getting attacked by The Authority after he lost the main event match clean to Seth Rollins. It was WWE's way of writing Orton out of action. Smackdown featured a depleted WWE roster because half of the crew left after Raw for the first leg of the European tour. WWE sends two rosters for their tours, so they couldn't use as many people for Smackdown this week. This is the start of a new weekly feature where we'll take a look at the key segments that happened during Smackdown. Obviously we can't see everything and there might be some backstage segments that either didn't air on the screens or weren't mentioned in spoiler reports, but we'll do our best to discuss it all. Thanks to Wrestlezone for the spoilers. One segment that took place that doesn't involve storylines was with military veteran Dan Rose. It was about a new exoskeleton that has been developed for paraplegics because WWE is partnering with Soldier Socks to help disabled US veterans. Very cool of WWE to do that. Here's a look at what happens on this week's Smackdown airing on Friday November 7th with some analysis on the key matches and storylines.
