With his upcoming Marvel Studios release "Guardians of the Galaxy" releasing on August 1, his calendar is full of promotional work for the film. There is no denying that his star is about to rise considerably thanks to his appearance in the hotly anticipated movie and the sports-entertainment company he called home for a decade will be quick to capitalize on the media attention that follows the former WWE and World Heavyweight champion. Batista appearing at SummerSlam, fresh off what is sure to be a number one box office hit, would lend credibility to the event. It would increase the overall importance of the spectacle and maybe even attract a new audience for WWE's premiere summertime extravaganza. Above all else, Batista appearing helps set up a potential program for The Animal upon his return to Raw and SmackDown.
