WWE SummerSlam 2017: 10 Shocks That Could Happen

7. Big Show Beats Big Cass

WWE are sure determined to get value for money out of that shark cage, aren't they? The gimmick has been used at Royal Rumble (when Chris Jericho watched Kevin Owens battle Roman Reigns) and at NXT TakeOver: Toronto (on that occasion, it was Paul Ellering who found himself suspended high above the ring). Now, it's Enzo Amore's turn.

There's no way Amore won't be a factor in the match finish, which suggests Big Cass could be about to do the honours for Big Show here. The logical result is a Cass win to help him build momentum as a singles star and quickly move on, but it's hard to shake the idea that Enzo will somehow cause a distraction long enough to see his ex-tag partner lose.

Maybe Amore's distraction will fail at SummerSlam and Cass will win anyway. If he does, great, because it'd be quite the shock to see Big Show win on pay-per-view in 2017 over a guy WWE hope will turn into one of their next great giants and become a main eventer.
