WWE SummerSlam 2017 Card Fans Want (But Won’t Get)

Most big four pay-per-views since the return of the brand extension have seen at least one inter-promotional match, and it has often involved the fate of a mid-card title (Kalisto's challenge for Kendrick's Cruiserweight Championship at Survivor Series last year, for instance).

With nothing else to do, it would be nice to see Sami Zayn renew acquaintances with former NXT adversary Neville, challenging 205 Live's bully boy for the belt he has worn with distinction for most of 2017.

We know these two are capable of putting on stellar matches, but - apart from the fact Zayn is billed at a little over 205 lbs - booking a finish would be difficult. Sami can seldom afford to eat another loss, and there is little indication that the wheels are about to come off Neville's title reign just yet.

So put this one in the "maybe" section.
