WWE Super Show-Down: 8 Last-Minute Rumours You Need To Know
1. Someone Walks Out On The Main Event
Despite all the Championships that are on the line and the assorted “legends” on the card, it’s likely to be Raw’s main storyline that goes on last. For whatever reason WWE think it’s the thing we’re all really, really interested in.
We’ve had it teased that Dean Ambrose is going to turn his back on his brothers in the Shield and go out for himself, likely turning heel and beginning a rivalry with Seth Rollins in the process. But we’ve also had this idea that Dolph is the weak link on the other sides, and could soon find himself cast out.
The seeds have been planted on both sides and, while it’s still likely a bluff/double bluff/double double bluff on behalf of creative, there are a lot of reasons to think it might actually happen. Not least of all because that’s what Bleacher Report and Ringside News are actually reporting.
Whatever happens though, WWE have a potentially captivating storyline on their hands here which, if handled right, not only restores some interest in Raw, but makes this show unmissable viewing for the company’s global audience. Have Dean betray the Shield and there’ll be no cries of “glorified House Show”.
