4. It Was The Only Time Super ShowDown Actually Felt As Big As WrestleMania

Ever since WWE has started producing these large-scale international pay-per-views, they have been trying to get us all to believe that, just because they sell out large stadiums, these events are on the same level as WrestleMania. Of course, that's a nonsense claim and, predictably, Super ShowDown did little to change that.

That being said, the event definitely came closer than ever to giving us a WrestleMania moment when 'Taker and Goldberg met in the main event.

Seeing these two larger-than-life personas stand across the ring from each other was truly a sight to behold, and it was one that managed to generate enough excitement to finally wake the depleted crowd up - even if it was all short-lived.

Say what you will about WWE's reliance on the semi-retired legends, but you'd be hard-pressed to find any current superstar with a presence the likes of Goldberg and The Undertaker.

With that in mind, it's easy to see why they so effortlessly managed to create a WrestleMania-like environment at the beginning of their match. For a moment, the WWE Universe didn't care that it was 2019 and they also didn't care that both superstars were past their primes; they simply watched in awe and, for that oh-so-brief moment, we all bought into the hype of Super ShowDown.
