WWE Super ShowDown 2019: 5 Overlooked Positives In The Undertaker/Goldberg Match
3. Undertaker Was In Great Shape
Over the last few years, The Undertaker's health has been called into question on a number of occasions, with 'The Phenom' looking particularly frail and, for lack of a better term, out-of-shape in 2017. Though he looked much healthier at last year's WrestleMania, he began to struggle with similar issues as he returned in the final quarter for those infamous matches with Triple H.
However, fast forward eight months to this year's Super ShowDown and his once-tired body looks nothing short of incredible. Yes, that might sound a little over-the-top for a superstar who is long past his prime but, when you factor in all this man has been through during his career and the multiple injuries that he has endured, he deserves some credit for his impressive transformation.
Regardless of the match, it was incredibly fulfilling to see 'The Deadman' look so healthy in action. While we had seen a glimpse of his toned physique earlier this year when he interrupted Elias on the Raw after 'Mania, it was even more impressive that he had maintained (if not improved) it for Super ShowDown.
Standing across from Goldberg, he was noticeably leaner and surprisingly jacked. He even looked a few inches taller - so much so that, from a distance at least, he almost looked like the same 'Phenom' that was main-eventing multiple WrestleManias a decade ago.
