WWE Survivor Series 2013 Review: 7 Biggest Talking Points

2. CM Punk & Daniel Bryan Vs. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan

Cm Punk Huge reaction for Punk coming out. The noise got even louder when Daniel Bryan came out afterwards, with seemingly every person in the crowd doing the yes chant and signal. Decent reaction for the Wyatts, too - the scary looking Rowan and Harper climbed in the ring as Bray Wyatt watched on from ringside. The match was the bout of the night, and featured excellent work from both Punk and Bryan. It was mainly Punk who stole the show, and he really looked on his game. The big Wyatt men also looked very sound for such huge guys - they worked well and really contributed to the match. There were plenty of big spots, including a Punk dive to the outside on to Bray and Harper. Daniel Bryan also hit Rowan with a headbutt through the ropes, and it looked like Rowan legitimately hyper-extended his knee. The finish was Bryan hitting the running knee on Rowan and Punk nailing Harper with the GTS. A really good match. The crowd was buzzing, and Bray Wyatt nearly got in the ring to continue the fight before backing off. Looks like we will perhaps get Bray vs. Bryan at some point down the line. As for Punk, well... it remains to be seen. One thing this match showed was that Punk and Bryan are hugely over. They got the two loudest reactions of the night. If WWE was to put Punk heel and square him off against Bryan in a main event, it would be hugely entertaining. Yes, it has been done before, but right now both men are perceived as huge stars. It would work fantastically.
